Description

She def leans indica. I made hash from the female breeder and it was wicked potent and fairly narcotic. Combining these effects with the rollercoaster effects of the Durban parentage, is, for lack of a better word, trippy. Trippy AF actually. She kept me guessing what was really going on LoL.

Her colors are pretty on point along with her flavors. She def expresses pink pistils and a very candy sweet aspect to her smells and flavors. She is a real “trippy” exotic with the legs of a sativa and the punch of an indica dominant mostly.

P1 Lineage

Male P1 Breeder(s) Deets: The (paternal P1) males are two individual Deep Chunks. Deep Chunk is a long IBL “Hashplant” type indica introduced and inbred by Tom Hill. Since getting Deep Chunk about a decade ago I have inbred her 3 or 4 times, leaning towards the larger sized and larger yielding purple phenotypes with the greatest resin production. I originally got these DC seeds from my old buddy “Moonshine Man” (Jay) who got them directly from Tom Hill.

Female P1 Breeder(s) Deets: KOS’s own Super Durban Haze, a cross between 2 IBL lines, Durban Poison and Super Silver Haze. This hybrid possesses almost sickeningly sweet aromas and flavors and is absolutely covered with resin. A deadly potent combo with long ass legs. Yields are average to good and she is very easy to trim due to excellent calyx to leaf ratios.

La Smoking Insights

The F1 female Pink Candy I used in this inbreeding showed me great coloration in the pistils that were indeed very pinkish, however due to the pollination that coloration was fleeting. Her buds were solid mass with great calyx to leaf ratio.

I made hash from the crumbled seeded buds of the female and she was very trippy type smoke. The Durban, the Haze, and the Chunk are a very unusual combination. The Pink Candy is not a contestant as far as clear and soaring hightypes are concerned. She’s more flying through space face first while observing many things too briefly to understand them, heh heh. Very fun, very rollercoaster for sure, intense and having a good hard body hit, fairly narcotic I thought.

I also sampled some buds of the Pink Candy grown by a friend and she was super tasty and very potent. I found all the similar properties to my hash sample.

In a nutshell, I found her to be very “disconnecting” with the world—LoL, seriously—and I was taken to another world on a grand amusement ride. She’s not sleepy at all, and even if you smoke a shitload, you will just “melt in place” rather than passing out asleep. Fun, definitely not cool to operate any machinery on, hard to pay attention reading or watching movies, but primo for playing games or art projects.

Growing Instructions

Please do not sprout these on a 24/0 photoperiod and KOS recommends 16/8 for sprouting and until 30 days old. Then switch to 18/6. Alternately…

Using a flowering photoperiod of 12/12 on sprouts for their first 10 days above ground, then switching them to an 18/6 photoperiod will allow you to easily sex them at 30 days of age—give or take 3 days

Always allow plants to get at least 55 days old from sprouting, before starting to flower for maximum resin production. Plants grown from seed work much better outdoors in the ground than clones do. Alternately, clones work much better in containers than plants from seeds do. Sprout seeds in ambient temps of 75 – 85 deg. F. Obviously KOS always recommends organically growing our gear in living soil for the full appreciation of smells and flavors, among many other reasons—cheers
